I have had two breast reductions, the first when I was 17, then a further reduction and scar revision in my early twenties. I certainly don't regret it, although I have had to come to terms with difficulty BF. Miss P is the first child I have had a prolonged BF experience with (I have three kidlets). The recovery from surgery was very painful and the scarring, although faded now, was initially quite bad. It did affect my confidence, particularly during intimacy, when I was younger. Fortunately, my DH couldn't give a toss about a few scars and he thinks my boobs are great! Miss P reckons I've got delicious boobs, and that has done wonders for my confidence in them. My breasts are worth far more than the sum of their scars.

I would not rule out further cosmetic surgery, but there is nothing I want done enough to suffer through the pain!

I would have said definitely no pre-kids, but my tummy has had a real working over (abdom seperation/hernia) and i might think about it when i'm finished making babies.

I've been looking into some kind of liposculpture or tummy tuck or something for the overhang! But I suppose might as well wait till all the kids are out! On the Costhetics facebook page someone was asking about Lipodissolve ? If I had the money or if it was paid for me, was informed (knew of risks etc....) then I'd definately consider it. I'd consider tummy tuck, breat lift & lipo. I also have this horrible line across my forehead from I think frowning that I'd like to get rid of.....

I would absolutley love breast enlargement. I often look at plastic surgeon websites and have picked out the perfect pair. I don't think I'd stop playing with them though, LOL!!

I had a breast reduction before I had my kids. I had enormous breasts (14G) and back/shoulder problems as a result. I had to have physio regularly and they would tape my shoulders back to improve my posture. At the time I thought I was doing the right thing (starting a family hadn't even crossed my mind at that stage), however in hind sight (isn't it a wonderful thing!!) I would have waited until after I had my kids in the hope that I would have had more success with breastfeeding. And now they're big again anyway!!

I was given the option of having a breast lift to my good boob when I had my mastectomy and recon. I opted not to, I couldn't stand the thought of fixing something that wasn't broken.

I think plastic surgery is fantastic for anyone that is suffering pain from a particular body part, whether that's a nose issue, overly large boobs or whatever.

Otherwise, no its definitely not for me. I am what I am, for better or worse. I want my girls growing up being comfortable in their own skins and I think it would send them a dangerous message if their mother surgically changed a body part to improve my looks.

That's interesting to throw this in the mix as I never really thought about it like that as I have had a removal (medical scare though) and actually probably would for "cosmetic" reasons but I still think getting rid of unsightly moles is a different ball game to actually altering a part of your body or figure kinda thing. Just my take on it though.

I have recently had both sclerotherapy (where they inject a solution into your veins) and laser surgery for my varicose veins on my legs. I had both legs done at separate times and they are considered cosmetic surgery - I received minimal back from both my private insurer and Medicare. My veins were very unsightly and whereas they weren't painful or causing a medical problem they certainly could later down the line.

I am so glad that I had them done as it I am now finally looking forward to summer time and being able to wear shorts confidently! Would I do it again? Yes indeed even though it was more painful then expected (don't let anyone tell you that laser surgery isn't painful) and the results were well worth it.

I will be getting a boob reduction sometime hopefully in the next couple of years too. I am a 14G and have permanent painful indentations on my shoulders from my bra straps, bad posture and bad back ache. I can't wait to have them done! I have always been large breasted but they have been worse since having children. I did contemplate it prior to children but chose to wait as I knew that I wanted to breastfeed if possible.

I would have loved a breast reduction but I have had to have two minor ops this year and discovered morphine, pethidine and most strong pain killers don't agree with me and I am allergic to the anti nausea meds so it's all a dream now. But I have found great bras that lift me up at least for a few hours a day.

Having moles removed for aesthetics is considered a cosmetic procedure, as is varicose veins etc.

I will definitely be having a breast lift when I am done making babies. I have odd shaped boobs when braless, they kind of point down rather than that teardrop shape. I'm extremely uncomfortable with my breast shape and see not problem with fixing that part of myself up, it effects my confidence (wearing bathers and done dresses/tops, being naked etc). But I'd want to be for having babies/breastfeeding before that happened. Also, depending on how my tummy is after children and whether or not I can shift it with exercise, I would consider lipo or a tuck...but having seen glamourcides tummy tuck pics I think I'm too chicken!! If my boobs were how I want them I wouldn't really care about anything else tbh.

Oh well, if we are counting moles, then yes. There were removed due to future concern about them, plus some were in spots that they were getting irritated. Due to the ones on my head, I have technically had half a face lift. Even after 20+ years I can feel a difference in tightness between my left and right side.

Got my breast implants put in in August 2007 and LOVE them! Would definitely do it all over again, no regrets!
